Our Story
Three sons. One freezer. A lot of ruined mangoes.
In 2016, Marcus Ellison started spinning fruit sorbet in his kitchen near West Charleston Boulevard because his oldest son, Amir, could not have dairy and was tired of being handed a popsicle at every party. The first ten batches were, by Marcus's own admission, terrible.
The eleventh was mango. The neighbors asked for more. Ten years later, Amir, Julian and Theo still work the case on Saturdays, and every flavor on our menu has to pass the same test it always has: all three boys have to want a second scoop.
“Our mission is simple — make frozen dessert that everybody at the table can eat, from real fruit, and hand it over ourselves.”
